Day Trading is one of the most common types of trading in the Stock Market. Day trading essentially means making all of your trades within a specific day. Day traders do not tend to hold a stock for more than one day. They want to make profits as quickly as possible and look only for short term spikes or declines. Some pros of day trading are that you can see your profits on that specific day, and do not have to wait for a long time to make them. However, one major disadvantage is that since most days traded stocks are volatile, this can lead to many losses. So who should day TRADE? This depends on the experience of the trader and what their goals are. Personally, I switch my approach to trading depending on the time. During the summer, since I have time available every morning, I tend to day trade, however, during school, I tend to swing trade or hold long positions.
